RED FLAG - Against The Grain EP

Irish DJ/producer Red Flag hitting hard on his PRSPCT debut.
2 killer UK infused hardcore slammers paying homage to the past with a modern 2026 production.
No fake drops or over engineered clinical nonsense.
Just pure solid melodies, chopped up amens and distorted 909s.

Against The Grain by Red Flag is non apologetic, rough and raw.
Just the way we like it!

An impressive release by this talented new artist.

Hitting the streets July 15th.

Closing out the year with a 2 track EP heavily inspired by the UK style.

Spent over a year putting this together, worked my ass off to take my favourite parts of UK Hardcore and give them a modern spin with some of my own influences.

Massive shoutout to the main G @djto_wa for putting this on his label @sealandrecordings . Huge respect for starting a new label and getting some heavy hitters on there. Truly an honor having this record out alongside the likes of The Outside Agency and Mr Fish himself.
Also big thanks to @joeet_oblivion and the crew at @oblivionunderground for giving me a platform on New Blood to learn and improve over the past few years.

🎨 and all visuals done by @in_aeternum_vive . Knocked it out of the park taking inspiration from old DC and Rebelscum releases.

Lastly shout-out to the main man @estier for the original demo of the track which ended up being reworked into Gas Em Up 🔥♥️

Lot more to come in the new year. Hope yis enjoy!

Birthday post!

Have started getting to the point where I need to double check my age when someone asks, and the back pain is actually something that I’ve visited the physiotherapist for. Winning!

It’s also not far off from the 1 year anniversary of me moving from Ireland to the Netherlands. In early 2025 I had committed to move closer to the homeland of hardcore. Red Flag had already started making some movements, but I felt that if I really wanted to give this a good shot, moving a few kms closer to Rotterdam would be one of the best moves. It was also long overdue to move in with my partner in crime @moahnie , and we both loved the country from previous time here. Pretty sure our first event together was PRSPCT XL lol (when it was still during the night!).

Less than a year later, and I think it’s pretty safe to say I made the right move. So insanely grateful for the people around me supporting the dream of pushing the underground beats forward.

Here’s to another year of propaganda. taken in Utrecht by @redflag.hardcore

Still feels surreal to say that just over 4 years into the Red Flag project, my new EP is on PRSPCT Recordings!

Against The Grain is my dedication to the scene and a showcase of what industrial and UK hardcore can be. No need for 16 kick switches or fake drops, just an idea, a few breaks and a 909.

Here’s a few clips of it showing how long it’s been in the works for - you could argue it was pretty much there a year ago hahah.

Big shout out to some of the gang that helped me along the way:

@djto_wa — Sealand king who gave me my first EP deal in 2024. One of the realest G’s out there. 👑

@thrasher_prspct — keeping the scene alive at @prspctrecordings ! Will always be grateful for the opportunity to showcase this style of hardcore on such big a platform. Let’s get that b2b in PRSPCT HQ sorted soon ay? 👀

@joeet_oblivion @_dolphin.official — this EP was pretty much forged in @oblivionunderground New Blood! I’ve lost count of the amount of submissions I’ve sent in, but will always be grateful for the support that you give to newcomers in the scene. Can’t wait to see that Oblivion release come to light and come full circle. 🩸

2026 BREAKBEAT PROPAGANDA

Been quiet on socials but the work is going in.

Latest mix for @toxic_sickness_official has just gone live - genuinely think it’s the best set I’ve recorded to date. Breakbeat to industrial hardcore - Warehouse Wax, Metalheadz, PRSPCT and more featured over the hour.

Next in line… @redflag.hardcore

Irish producer Red Flag isn’t here to play nice. With Definitely an L,he’s unleashed a 2 tracker that doesn’t just nod to the golden days of UK Hardcore—it grabs them by the scruff and drags them straight into the now.

This release is all about relentless energy: euphoric melodies that soar like lasers through the smoke, breakbeats that keep your pulse racing, and basslines that punch like they mean it. It’s raw, unapologetic, and destined to hit like a sledgehammer in every rave from Dublin to Sealand.

Forget the name, this L is an undeniable win for the scene. Plug in, crank it up, and let Red Flag remind you why UK Hardcore is timeless.
