Blu’s is an animated short film from RedGod Studios, India.
Fourteen years ago, I started dreaming about making a film called Blu’s. At that time, it
was just an idea. I didn’t know how long it would take. I didn’t know how difficult it would become. And I definitely didn’t know that one day, this little
film would travel around the world. For fourteen years, I kept coming back to the same dream. Eventually, I realized that if I wanted to make Blu’s,
I had to build the place where I could make it. That decision eventually became RedGod Studios. And Blu’s became the film that started
everything. This is the story of Blu’s. And we’re still writing it.

From Kerala to the world. 'Blu's' Official Trailer is here. 💙🍃

A story that whispers something profound about our connection to the earth, a cause that’s so close to my heart. Animated short film is created by the brilliant team at @redgod_studios in Kerala, directed by the industry veteran @iamrajeshpk and a soul stirring score by the incredible @sushintdt.

'Blu's' is already winning awards and acclamations globally. It’s a film that speaks volumes about innocence, loss, and our duty to protect what we have.

Meet @kartik_.r._ , FX Artist on Blu’s.

Every little detail matters when bringing a film to life. From the placement of objects to the smallest details in every shot, the team worked hard to make sure everything had a purpose.

Kartik shares what it was like to watch the team give their best during the final months of production, and how important the music was in bringing the visuals together.

With music by @sushintdt Sushin Shyam, the film became a dream come true for the team.

We’re proud of Kartik and everyone at RedGod Studios who helped bring Blu’s to life.

Blu’s — 14 years. One dream. One little leaf.

Meet @sayanthhh , one of the animators behind Blu’s.

Working on Blu’s was more than just animation. It was about understanding the character, experimenting with her unique painterly animation style, and learning to look at the bigger picture of filmmaking.

As Sayanth shares, being part of a small team meant everyone had to work beyond their own department and come together to bring Blu to life.

We’re proud of Sayanth and our entire team for the effort and creativity they brought to this film.

At RedGod Studios, The first festival selection meant something different. After years of making the
film, someone outside our team had watched Blu’s and said yes. It was the first sign that the film
could travel beyond us.
This is another chapter in the Blu’s journey — from the original dream to the film made by our team.
