Ode to the West Buttress
/
2026 marks my hardest trip of my career.
And everything started in town... The dark cloud came out of nowhere.
/
This perfect weather trip to 14K marks a change in my life, and everything I own and I learned is to the people who showed up and the people who showed me the support and backup needed.
The ones whose words of encouragement boosted me with energy and sympathy.
The people who checked in every day, the ones who held my back. The ones who kept me moving.
The core crew with boots on the ground next to me.
The ones texting and reaching out. The ones who I learned to say 'I love you' without hesitation.
Endless words.
