Thanks to parts donated by @mikeot I was able to take the calipers and stainless steel brake lines out of the wrecked wagon. While there, I grabbed the Bilstein shocks and H&R sway bar. I need a spring compressor to grab the H&R springs. Seeing Mike work on his E55 S210 project has given me motivation to work on mine. by @redgy.ramirez

When I checked out this car, it was not prepped for sale. The car was filthy inside and out. The seller’s stuff was still in the car. I disliked it I considered walking away. I finally had a chance to wash the exterior. First time seeing the car clean. It’s not perfect and it has potential. I’m happy with the car. by @redgy.ramirez

The first step in upgrading the audio of this car is to convert the original single din head unit to a double din size. This requires to swap the single din bracket for a double din. Radio works for now. Next step is to order the harness and subwoofer from Crutchfield. I’m going with a compact powered sub. Thanks to @pnw210 for the guidance. by @redgy.ramirez

The hood cable broke. Fortunately, the hood popped which allowed me to open the hood. A new cable is no longer available. Since it was also a pain to install a new cable, I decided to used a bicycle brake cable. I put the factory crimp at the hood and my crimp inside the cabin. If my crimp fails (likely), I can use a plier to pull the cable and open the hood. My crimp did fail. I didn’t take a photo of the second attempt but so far it’s working. Icing is new cable clips. by @redgy.ramirez

Finally installed the hood pad. I’ve had the materials for a while now. It’s not the most interesting job. But it makes a huge difference because no hood pad looks so ugly. The Teroson didn’t work for me. Maybe because the volatiles have evaporated already. Ended up using hardware contact cement. by @redgy.ramirez
