Last night we took a moment to honor someone who helped build the foundation of YESSS!! during our earliest years. As an instructor, judge, competitor, mentor, and friend, Jacob Reding gave so much of himself to this event. Long before YESSS!! became what it is today, he saw the vision and he bought in. He invested his time, his talent, his energy, and his heart into helping this event grow. The truth is, YESSS!! wouldn’t be what it is today without people like Jacob. Back in those early days, he’d teach 10–12 workshops in a single weekend (which is a LOT 😅), judge every competition he wasn’t competing in (regardless of style), and then still compete himself… once until 2:00 am…. Before reporting for daily staff meetings and demos at 10am…. we’re still sorry about that one! Looking back, those weekends were wild. But people like Jacob showed up anyway (year after year). They gave everything they had to help a brand-new event succeed, and YESSS!! is better because of it. The Hall of Fame is brand new, but the idea behind it has been in my heart for a long time 🫶 This event has always been about so much more than workshops and competitions, it’s more than who owns it or who’s on staff on any given year. It’s about the people who leave it better than they found it. The people who make others feel welcome, raise the level of those around them, lead with integrity and respect, and leave a lasting impact on our community. Jacob is one of those people. It was an honor to recognize him as our very first YESSS!! Hall of Fame inductee, and I can’t wait to continue honoring the incredible people who have helped make this event into what it is today. Thank you, Jacob. Thank you for believing in us before we had proof we could become what we dreamed of. Your impact will always be a part of YESSS!! 🧡 by @reding_dance

✨ WELCOME TO THE FOREVER COUNTRY DANCE FEST 2026 STAFF — JACOB REDING! We’re excited to welcome Jacob Reding back to Forever Country as part of our Country Swing Instructor Team at Forever Country Dance Fest 2026! 🤠🔥 Jacob’s dance journey began with a life-changing night at Billy Bob’s Texas, where a former college and semi-professional baseball player discovered a passion that would take him from the ballfield to championship dance floors across the country! And what a journey it’s been! 🏆 With an incredible 37 CHAMPIONSHIP BELT BUCKLES, Jacob has earned National and World Championship titles across multiple country dance styles. His diverse background also includes experience as a professional ballroom instructor, competing in Advanced West Coast Swing, and performing in music videos for country artists Kevin Fowler, Josh Turner, and Midland! 🎶 Since relocating to Boise, Idaho, in 2023, Jacob has continued traveling across the country, teaching, performing, and sharing his knowledge with dancers of all levels. But beyond the championship titles and accomplishments, Jacob brings something equally valuable to the dance floor—a genuine passion for faith, community, and helping others grow. His approach to teaching goes beyond learning patterns and combinations, emphasizing confidence, connection, strong fundamentals, and the character that makes someone a great dance partner. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your Country Swing technique, expand your movement vocabulary, or take your dancing to the next level, Jacob brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to share! We’re thrilled to have Jacob Reding joining our Country Swing Staff at Forever Country Dance Fest 2026! Be sure to catch his workshops and find him on the social dance floor this November! 📆 November 20–22, 2026 📍 South Side Ballroom at Gilley’s Dallas | Dallas, Texas 🎟️ Get your Weekend Pass: ForeverCountryDanceFest.com by @reding_dance
We're happy to share that we are bringing together some of the people who have helped shape Country Swing for a summit. Its purpose is to have some important conversations about the future of our dance. @david_saylors @juanna_dance @dancewithgabe @gabriel_countrynomads @dancewithdanya @jamespatrick5 @reding_dance @kenziekeister @camidestefano5 @justinkereszturi @kristayoung.dance @skylarrpaigeee @dancingcommanda @elisebedancing @jadenpfeifferdance Getting everyone together takes time, travel, and resources, so we're asking the community for a little help to make it possible. If Country Swing has been a part of your life and you'd like to support what we're trying to do, please consider donating or sharing this video. Even a few dollars can make a difference.
