The world can feel heavy at times, with conflict, uncertainty, and division making it hard to stay hopeful. Yet in the middle of sadness, creativity continues to remind us of our humanity. I was fortunate to witness a beautiful Drag evening with friends. I am wearing beautiful pieces from my friends, Paul, Liana, and Roy. Thank you, and don’t forget to repeat your wardrobe. Drag and art bring color, courage, humor, and self-expression into spaces that can otherwise feel dark. They create moments of joy, connection, and resilience, showing that even when the world feels difficult, people still find powerful ways to celebrate life, identity, and imagination. Have you ever met someone and instantly felt like you had known them from another lifetime?As a photographer, you witness more than just fashion. You witness moments that cannot be staged.During our editorial shoot at the iconic Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, I watched something beautiful unfold.It was not just about the clothes or the location.It was about two people.Mithun met Nyla for the first time, yet watching them together, it felt as though they had known each other long before that moment. Their connection was effortless, their energy felt familiar, and every frame seemed to tell the story of two souls reconnecting rather than meeting.Some moments cannot be directed. They simply happen.Maybe that is the magic of serendipity. The right people crossing paths at exactly the right moment.Sometimes the most memorable stories are not the ones we plan.
