Off to Japan 🩷This 2,3 kg(!) Futyres V worked out really well with a lot of improved features compared to my older "LED builds":-No noise or humming picked up by the pickups caused by the LEDs.-Lightweight but no head-dive.-A reliable recharge battery (on the third picture you can see the 4 lights indicating the battery level and there's a thumbscrew for quick access to recharge). This guitar is part of a collaboration, more pics will follow soon! by @redlayerguitars

So it finally happened! 🙌🏼 Dick Lövgren of the mighty @meshuggah played the bass I made for him live on stage @southofheavenfestival. A dream come true 😄After keeping it under the radar for about 6 years and after a lot of tweaking, yesterday I finally had the chance to meet with him again and dropped it off at the festival they were playing. He tried it through his in-ears behind the stage and decided he would play it live for one song it was tuned to (God He Sees In Mirrors), a real baptism by fire 😆Thanks to everyone that supported me ❤️ Special thanks to @adamovicbasses for the perfect setup 👌🏼and @shamanginator for the mental support 😁 by @redlayerguitars

Altijd al zelf een elektrische gitaar willen bouwen? In september start HMC Next weer met de cursus Moderne Gitaarbouw. In deze cursus leer je stap voor stap hoe je een volledig bespeelbaar, professioneel instrument maakt.Onder begeleiding van professioneel gitaarbouwer Jort Heijen werk je met hoogwaardige materialen en topcomponenten. From the Dutch coastal dunes all the way to Mexico 🇲🇽 Took a while for me to finish this 8-string Juggernaut loaded with Elysian pickups and a Tobias Caspar top 🤘A wide variety of woods were used: Mexican bocote for the neck, European hornbeam for the fretboard, Siberian elm for the body, American buckeye for the middle layer 😁 by @redlayerguitars
