I used to think audacity had to look BIG.

Leap. Declare. Disrupt. Burn some shit down. 😂

But sometimes audacity is quieter.

✨Changing my mind.
✨Choosing differently.
✨Trying again.
✨Not explaining myself.
✨Doing something nobody claps for.

I’m learning that I don’t need an audience for a choice to be brave.

Well, shit. 😂

I’m discovering that sometimes it’s easier to be the giver because I know who I am in that role.

Receiving asks something different of us.

To not manage the moment.
To not immediately reciprocate.
To trust.
To let ourselves be cared for.

Maybe some of y’all know exactly what I mean.

Receiving requires a different kind of strength: letting yourself be held without grabbing the wheel…💋
