There was a time when I helped a woman named (let’s call her ) Joy facing a five-day eviction notice. I paid her bills, helped provide for her children, and introduced her to experiences she’d never had—from Burke Williams Spa and BareMinerals to Victoria’s Secret, sushi, Miss World, and celebrations among my friends. When she charged me $200 to do my hair, I gave her $1,000. She told me I’d done things for her nobody ever had.

A decade later, when my own world collapsed, that same woman put me on the street, called me a failure, questioned my mental health, and told me I had demons in my eyes.

But Misty Stone saw something different.

When I was a caterpillar struggling out of the cocoon of my former life, she saw the butterfly. When my world burned, she saw the phoenix. When life subjected me to unimaginable heat and pressure, she saw the diamond forming.

Before you judge someone else’s body, appearance, or choices, take a moment to reflect.

It’s fascinating how comfortable people have become criticizing complete strangers, especially women, from behind a screen.

Beauty isn’t one size. Confidence isn’t reserved for one body type. And having an opinion doesn’t automatically make it worth sharing.

You don’t have to find someone attractive to respect them. You don’t have to understand their choices to extend kindness.

Before you judge, reflect. Sometimes the problem isn’t the person you’re looking at. It’s the lens you’re looking through.

STOP BEING LOYAL TO A MAN WHO HASN’T CHOSEN YOU! 💋

Ladies, stop putting yourselves on the shelf for men who haven’t even asked you to be in a relationship!

If he hasn’t expressed his intentions, asked for exclusivity, or made a commitment, YOU ARE SINGLE. ACT LIKE IT!

Too many women become emotionally committed to relationships that exist only in their imagination. They stop dating, reject opportunities, and wait patiently for a man who hasn’t actually chosen them.

That’s not loyalty. That’s putting your life on hold for a possibility.

Sometimes, it reflects a deeper issue of self-worth: believing you must remain available in the hope that someone will eventually recognize your value.

Never give someone the privileges of commitment without the responsibility of commitment.

You can like him. You can admire him. You can even hope something develops.

But until there’s a mutual agreement, keep living your life!

🔐 15 YEARS DOING TIME FOR LOVE… AND I WAS THE ONE HOLDING THE KEY. 💔

For 15 years, I lived in a relationship where even celebrating Christmas and special occasions became a thing of the past.

“We don’t celebrate holidays. Every day is bliss.”

And somewhere along the way, I stopped celebrating life.

I gave my loyalty, my time, my love, and years I could never get back.

But here’s the painful truth: I was serving a sentence for love, and I was the one holding the key.

The day I finally walked away, I realized the prison door had been open all along.

Now I’m reclaiming my joy, my traditions, my independence, and my dreams. ❤️

I didn’t lose 15 years. I finally stopped giving away the years I have left.
