Grateful for rainy weeks and clear skies in time for balloonists, a full river and acequias, delicious harvests, late bloomers, and a hot cup of coffee on a chilly morning. #nmtrue #nmcoffee #supportlocalabq by @redrockroasters
Some shipments mean more than others. This container carries years of work, trust, and a relationship that began in 2018. We are proud to once again prepare coffee for our friends at Red Rock Roasters, who have trusted us with El Bonito throughout the years — and who are now adding our Pink Bourbon Natural to their order. From our farm in Guatemala to their roastery, every shipment is part of a story we continue building together. Thank you, Red Rock Roasters, for your trust, your partnership, and for believing in the work we do year after year. Here’s to many more harvests, shipments, and cups together. ☕️🌎 @redrockroasters #goldgrainscoffee #guatemalacoffee #specialtycoffee #coffeeexport #farmtoroaster by @redrockroasters
If you speed up cupping, we look like busy little chickens. 🫘 🐔 #nmcoffee #supportlocalabq #abqcoffee by @redrockroasters

Hey, All! Many of you have been anxiously awaiting the return of FTO Sumatra. The entire new crop was significantly delayed due to last November’s Cyclone Senyar, which hit Aceh very hard. Our Sumatra is in the US now and available for pre-order if you just can’t wait. This coffee is an outstanding example of a classic Sumatra Mandheling à la Erna Knutsen. Rich body, stone fruit, tobacco and cedar notes in the long, exceptionally sweet finish. Medium-roasted, certified by @fairtradecertified and @certifiedusdaorganic #fairtradecoffee #nmcoffee #supportlocalabq by @redrockroasters
Last year we helped fund a grant to provide bees, equipment, and training to @cafefemeninoperu members and their families so that they could diversify their income. Marilyn of @cafefemeninofoundation sent us an update: “Tell Rachel I got to see some of the beehives and the excitement of the women and men as they prepared their beehives.” It’s a lot of work and a steep learning curve, just like coffee. But since these co-ops produce some of my favorite coffees in the world, I have confidence that the honey will be delicious, too. #nmcoffee #abqcoffee #shestheroaster by @redrockroasters
Not only is it chile season in July now, we’ve started getting wholesale orders for Pumpkin Spice @monin_usa syrup. I’ve dedicated a lot of words to the PSL (link in bio to my landmark work, “Pumpkin Spice Lattes: Basic Batches or Correct Consumption?”) but the upshot is that life is short. You’re allowed to like what you like. We can help you find the right coffee to do whatever you want with it, and if you want to have a gingerbread/peppermint/candy corn latte this weekend to go with your green chile stew, you know who to call for advice on coffee pairings. #nmcoffee #abqcoffee #falliscoming #eventually by @redrockroasters
Text reads: We will be closed Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day. Pick up your coffee today or tomorrow if you need it for the weekend! by @redrockroasters
Our FTO French Roast in @coffeereview’s newest article, “What Are the Best Dark Roast Coffees Right Now? 10 Picks for 2026” (link in bio). They called it, “A light-handed French roast that achieves impressive balance, retaining sweetness and origin character beneath its darker-roast profile.” The article is an excellent exploration of the state of roast level in Specialty coffee, so don’t miss it if it’s a topic that interests you. I chose to submit one of our everyday offerings rather than something more exotic. At 93 points, our FTO French was two points off the highest-scoring coffee in the article, and also half the price. I am proud to deliver a highly-rated product that not only compensates the producer decently but allows our customer an affordable option. As the quality of what everyone buys deteriorates, as companies push half-baked AI slop and increasingly predatory subscription services on us, and as the cost of living increases, we are eight people at a little coffee roaster in the desert, promising to act with loyalty, humanity, and respect for both our customers and our vendors. And occasionally, we get some external recognition for the quality of the product, which feels like a triumph. I hope that you, as our customer, also take a moment to enjoy your participation in this project with us. -RL #nmcoffee #abqcoffee #supportlocalabq by @redrockroasters
Not coffee content, don’t care. It’s Bees Romping Inside Cactus Flowers Season and I’m happy to be alive to see it again. #newmexico #abq #505 by @redrockroasters

Have you tried our newest Peru microlot? It’s fruity without being funky, clean, sweet, and moreish. Link in bio! #thinkoutsidethecafe #nmcoffee #abqcoffee by @redrockroasters
