POSTS STORIES REELS

As the new year rolls around, it felt like the right time for a refreshed introduction around here.

As I enter my 7th year of filming weddings, I’m honestly overwhelmed (in the best way) by the experiences, relationships, and impact this work has brought into my life.

When I picked up a camera for the first time over 15 years ago, I never imagined it would turn into both a passion and my livelihood. Looking back now, I’m incredibly grateful for every couple, friend, and creative who has supported and encouraged me over the past seven years in the wedding space. Truly, the greatest blessing.

If you’re new here, I’m Sawyer, the filmmaker behind Red Rock Wedding Films.

At the heart of what I do is a simple belief…

A wedding film should do more than document a day. It should make you feel something. It should transport you back to the sounds, the sights, the emotion, and the fleeting moments you didn’t even realize were happening. Capturing what’s real, while framing you, your guests, and the design in the best possible light.

Beyond the work, my goal on a wedding day is to bring a calm, collaborative presence. To work seamlessly with your vendor team, family, and friends, and to create an experience that feels natural and unforced.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read and get to know me and my work. Being trusted with these moments is something I never take lightly.

Here’s to another year of meaningful stories, beautiful celebrations, and films that become living time capsules for the people who matter most.

And lastly.. A special shoutout to @shanehite + @captivevisuals_ for the new headshots. by @redrockweddingfilms_

The definition of a joy-filled day .. Cheers to the Clemens! More coming soon.

The view was spectacular, but all eyes were on Hannah and Chris. From heartfelt vows to moments that had everyone laughing, every part of the day reflected who they are and the life they’re building together. Their warmth, sense of fun, and genuine connection set the tone from start to finish, creating a celebration that felt both deeply meaningful and effortlessly joyful.

Summer’s most unforgettable wedding. A designer bride, a dapper groom, and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center transformed into a living work of art. Florals climbed the columns at the altar, cocktails flowed, and guests rang bells for a Champagne moment before heading into the main hall for dinner under towering candelabra and lush, overflowing blooms. The stage delivered pure drama with stately draping, a custom gilded crest, and twenty‑foot trees. The dance floor never emptied as surprises and delights kept coming... Cowboy Cannolis made his rounds while guests donned light‑up cowboy hats, pizza boxes appeared in the hands of playful wait staff, Saving Abel took the stage, and the dance band brought the house down. The night closed with a rose‑petal sendoff on the grand steps, marking the start of a beautiful new chapter.

A little bit of New York, right here in Nashville.

Paige & Ciaran brought NYC to the South, reimagining their reception as a love letter to the place their story began. Floating florals suspended overhead, custom martini bars, a marble dance floor that caught every light in the room. Every detail felt deliberate, every corner felt like them.

The team at @lauriedeanneevents brought the entire vision to life with precision and care, and gave everyone a night worth remembering.
