[First RRO rehearsal ever] 11 years ago Red Rooster’s story started on Summer 2014 when Angel Yanez is introduced to Oscar Burgos Jr by Cesar Sanmiguel. They connected right away and started practicing together. The first rehearsals was: Oscar on main vocals, Angel on lead guitar, Cesar on bass and Oscar’s friend from music school, Adrian Marcelo on drums. First song they ever played was most likely `Roll With It’ by Oasis. This rehearsals playing covers lasted about a month until the obvious choice of having Angel on vocals and Oscar on drums instead came to change the band’s dynamic forever. Angel already had a few songs like “Rock and Roll” and “Dear Caroline” (unreleased) for the band. All through 2015 a lot of songs were written and demos were made. “You Make Me Feel This Way”, “War World”, “The Anarchist” being some of em. In 2016 they started playing their first shows in Monterrey with the original line up, having now Rodrigo Iga on bass and Felizardo Amparano on rhythm guitar. And the rest is history.

To celebrate Red Rooster’s anniversary we invite you to listen to the debut album “California Sun” on your digital platform of preference. 😎🔥
