🌞 Hi there! I’m Tara.
✨ I create gatherings over simple, shared experiences in welcoming third spaces 🩷
Creativity. Connection. Community.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hi! I’m Tara. If you’re here, it’s because I created The Red Thread for you. This idea was born from my desire to support other women, to pour more into my friendships, hobbies, and what brings me joy, and to make it easier for other women to do the same. This space is about creativity, community, and connection. Most importantly, it’s about joy. Come on in! My hope is that you’ll stay awhile 🩷.

Like a manifesto, but make it a little cheeky. ✨

Hi! I’m Tara, and here’s your invitation to join The Red Thread.

I believe making things with your hands is good for your soul.

I believe we need places to go where nobody needs anything from us.

I believe friendship deserves more than a “we should totally get together sometime.”

I believe you’re never too old to try something you’re bad at.

I believe a little bit of sparkle can fix a surprising number of things.

I believe creativity doesn’t have to be productive, impressive, or even particularly good.

I believe in showing up as you are, making a beautiful mess, and staying for the conversation.

I believe in third spaces.
Strong communities.
New friends.
Old friends.

I believe in tiny rituals.
In laughing until your face hurts.
In putting your phone down and picking something up.

Mostly, I believe we’re not meant to do life alone.

So consider this your invitation.

Come make something.
Come meet someone.
Come sit awhile.

The craft is just the excuse. The connection is the point. by @redthreadcraftclub

He turned 10! 10! Double digits. He wanted a bookworm party, so I did my best 💅. The best part? An hour in to the party everyone just played…outside…no staged events, no coordinating, no helicopters, just childhood ✨ by @redthreadcraftclub

I’ve seen people doing hot glue embroidery on clothes, and one question I always see in comments is, “how does it wash?”, but I’ve never seen an answer! So here we go! I will report back, and you can still join us on October 25th at @loveevolutionstudio for a yoga session and some crafting. Not sure what to bring? A canvas tote, canvas sneakers, canvas baseball cap, oxford button down, denim jacket, a sweatshirt….so many possibilities!! Make things. Meet people. The connection is the point 🩷🩵💜 by @redthreadcraftclub

Sunday, October 25th! We’re doing yoga and hot glue embroidery at @loveevolutionstudio 🖤

You bring the piece you want to embroider, and we’ll handle the rest 🩷.

As usual I’m in the testing phase for you: walked around with this bad boy unfinished for two weeks! It stayed put ✔️.

Next: a sweatshirt!

Who is joining us on the 25th? What do you want to embroider?

If the project was “create an adhesive for products” and my child or student came back with this? Fail. Straight to jail. by @redthreadcraftclub

This is going to be fun! Bring your own item to try hot glue embroidery on, and I’ll supply the rest 🩷. I’ll have some stencils (including a few fall/Halloween themes). While hot glue sets, we’ll take a yoga class, and then spend the afternoon relaxing, stitching, and chatting. Come make things and meet people 🩷🩵💜. by @redthreadcraftclub

This was really cathartic to make after an anxiety-ridden day 💅.

Don’t worry I blocked her from my socials, my life, and this group. I might be healed but I can still be petty AF.

Instead of being entitled, let’s be curious and kind and hang with the gals at craft club. by @redthreadcraftclub

We’re going to block stamp tea towels on October 1st @thegrazingroombelair @boards_by_dana. Bring something to sip on, eat some charcuterie, and stamp away. 100% customizable…veggies, stamps, cookie cutters - all supplies included 🩷. I actually think this would be such a fun date night - color coordinated but totally different towels 🥰. Link in bio to register. by @redthreadcraftclub

Because we can’t all draw by hand 💅. I grabbed some Canva elements, printed them out, and used them to help me create images for my photo embroidery 🩷. We have only a few seats left for photo embroidery at @mannalifehw … I’m bringing the mocktails, the supplies, stencils & inspo pics…you’ll bring the 5x7 MATTE photo you want to work on. We’ll start by practicing some stitches before we touch your photos, and you’ll leave with something whimsical you’re ready to frame ✨. See you September 12th! by @redthreadcraftclub
