Some pretty unreal moments caught on camera after landing one of my biggest rainbow trout of the summer. I celebrated with a beer, only to catch another beautiful rainbow trout just a few casts later. 😅

I’m not saying this is the first time someone’s landed a red-tail catfish off a paddle board… but it might be 😅

Hooked this fish from land behind my apartment, and as soon as it realized what was happening, it wrapped me deep in the weeds. Total stalemate.

Called a friend over to hold my rod, sprinted inside, grabbed my paddle board, pumped it up as fast as I could, got back out there, took the rod back… and somehow managed to land it on the other side of the dam after it got wrapped up again and I then had to hand line it in

What makes it even crazier — this isn’t the first time I’ve hooked this exact fish in this tiny lake.
