In The Epic of Gilgamesh, King Gilgamesh leaves his kingdom in an attempt to conquer death. He fails over and over again. When he returns to his kingdom he sees the sun rise, and he smiles at the beauty of a life he had taken for granted. Reminds me of the time I spent another winter pouring Rumpleminz all over the bar in Alaska, but instead of cheating death it was just trying not to eat chicken tenders. I also failed. by @reecealllen
