Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar
The house I’m renting has an apple tree. Did you know you can save the cores and scraps in a bag in the freezer and when you have enough you can make your own Apple Cider Vinegar? I drink some everyday and it’s been super easy and fun to make myself.

Recipe below if you’ve questions hit me up I can help you.
#applecidervinegar #homemade #astoriaoregon #pnw #appletree #youcandoit

1.) You’re going to need 2 Large clean jars.

2.) Fill jars 3/4 full of Apple Cores and scraps.
3.) Boil 4 Cups of filtered water and add. 4 Tablespoons of Sugar.
4.) Once sugar is dissolved pour over apples.
5.) Cover jars with coffee filter and rubber band.
6.) Set into a dark cabinet and push apples down once a day.
7.) Let set for 2 weeks and remove apple pieces, and then recover. Whenever it tastes sour, anywhere from a week to 2 weeks you will have homemade apple cider vinegar. by @reedlovesketo

I’m trying God, you’ve seen my tears and sadness . Could you please send me your prayers today friends. I’m a little low. by @reedlovesketo

Thank you to all that served, and are currently serving our country. I appreciate you and thank you, for everything you have given for this country.

I hope you check in on your friends and family that have served. This day can be hard for some people as they reflect on the loss of their brothers and sisters and the trials and tribulations they have had to endure.

Veterans you are loved and appreciated beyond measure. I’m happy to be able to be with my son who served today.

Words can’t even convey the amount of respect and honor I have for all those who have sacrificed so much for all of us. Thank you I appreciate everything you’ve done for us.

My son has lost many friends and fellow platoon mates. This pain is very hard for him to deal with at times. My heart aches for these young men and women who have died. Please reach out and check up on your friends that have served because this day can be a difficult and painful day for those who have seen so much.

If you’re ever struggling and feel like nobody cares or the pain is to much I will listen and I care deeply. May God bless you all and bring you peace in your heart. by @reedlovesketo

Eggs Benedict with homemade Hollandaise on Gluten Free Bread with Truffle, Garlic and Jalapeño Roasted Potatoes.

We had a wintery day yesterday and today. It was eerie not hearing anyone drive down the highway because it was so bad.

Have you ever made your own Hollandaise from scratch? It is so good. I used;
3 Large Egg Yolks
1/2 tsp. Dijon Mustard
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Tbl. Fresh Lemon, juiced
3/4 Cup, Salted Butter, melted and bubbling hot

1.) Separate 3 egg yokes (save the whites for something else). Put into large glass measuring cup.
2.) Add Dijon, lemon juice, and salt to yolk mixture in large measuring cup.
3.) Melt 3/4 Cup of Butter in a saucepan until bubbling hot. Not burning but you want it hot so it will cook the yolks and combine correctly.
4.) With a stick blender whip up yolk mixture for a couple seconds then slowly add hot butter while blending. It helps if someone else can slowly pour it while your holding the stick mixture. If everything works out you should have some thick Hollandaise Sauce.
5.) Serve over Toasted English Muffins or Bread of Choice. (I used Carbonaut Gluten Free Bread)

Then Layer bread with Canadian Bacon/ Crab/Smoked Salmon/orVeggies

And top it off with your Hollandaise sauce.

Some helpful tips are to start with your roasted potatoes first because they will take the longest amount of time to cook. Secondly I would start the water for the poached eggs and poach them until almost done then re-pop them back in the hot water to warm them back up again. I would prepare the Hollandaise last because it doesn’t warm up great. The hardest part is having everything ready at the same time.

Truffle Garlic Jalapeño Roasted Potatoes

6 Yukon Gold Potatoes cubed
3 Tbls Avocado Oil
1/2 -3/4 tsp Curious Spoon’s Truffle, Parmesan, and Black Garlic Seasoning
1/2 -3/4 tsp Kinder’s Red Jalapeño Garlic Seasoning

1.) Heat oven to 400
2.) Chop potatoes, place into large bowl.
3.) Add oil and seasonings and mix until well combined.
4.) Bake for 35 minutes flipping 1/2 way through. by @reedlovesketo

Wild Sockeye Salmon Cauliflower Rice Bowl with Cilantro Jalapeño Sauce.

I made some Cilantro Jalapeño Dressing earlier today to go on my salmon.

This chartreuse sauce will blow your tastebuds away. I just made a #reel showing you how to make it, or you can find the recipe at the link in my bio or at reedlovesketo.com

This is just one idea that you can use this sauce for. You can also use it on tacos, or make a Caesar Salad with Salmon or Shrimp.

I finally have a better kitchen with more light. Let me know in the comments what kind of food inspiration you’re looking for.

Cilantro Jalapeño Dressing

• 1 Juicy Lime, juiced
• 2 Jalapeños, diced (add seeds for more spice or omit if you’re not feeling it)
• 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
• 1/2 Shredded Parmesan
• 1/2 Cup Cilantro
• 1/2 Cup Mayo
• Salt and Pepper, to taste

Throw everything into the blender and blitz. It thickens up a little more in the fridge.
This sauce is good on so many things. Salads, Tacos, Salmon, Rice Bowls. I’m making Cauliflower Rice bowl with Salmon tonight and this is gonna get drizzled in top.

Sorry for the funny facial expressions this is why I don’t normally put myself behind the camera. I’m so focused I don’t know how to just flow yo. 😆

Wild Sockeye Salmon with a Meyer Lemon and Fennel Sauce, Oven Roasted Broccoli with Drama Queen’s Thai Chili Basil Crisp and served with my Coconut Cauliflower Rice.
💜
This sheet pan meal was so good and easy to make.

I put the salmon on a parchment lined cookie sheet and drizzled some avocado oil and Kinder’s Buttery Steak Seasoning. Tossed the broccoli in avocado oil and some Drama Queen Crispy Thai Basil Chili Crunch (from Amazon). Baked at 375 for about 15 minutes flipping the broccoli half way through.

I made the Coconut Cauliflower Rice a few days ago. (Recipe is located in clickable link in my bio) Topped it off with my Meyer Lemon and Fennel Sauce. (Recipe also in Bio).

This one was a flavor blast! Happy Saturday Friends💜💜💜 by @reedlovesketo

Keto Hummus Bagel

I made some of my Keto Hummus (recipe is in clickable link in my bio).

I put it on a Carbonaut Gluten Free Keto Seeded Herb and Garlic Bagel and topped it with Tillamook Smoked Black Pepper Cheddar, Cucumbers, Baby Bell Peppers, Heirloom Tomato, and Arugula.

There’s a secret ingredient in the Hummus can anyone guess and it’s not beans? by @reedlovesketo
