"THE MOMENT OF THE SHOW!" ...and we had some great moments that night.

We found out in this exact moment that our 2026 Classic Physique Open Overall Winner, Reed McCann @reedmccann1, tragically lost him mom unexpectedly last year.

As his body rushed with emotions, our head judge, Brandon Chaison @b._chaison, stood up from the judges table, grabbed the mic, and took the stage for a monumental speech. The entire moment left all of us all in tears of joy and sorrow.

Congratulations on becoming an OCB Pro-Qualified Competitor Reed!!!!!

We all know she couldn't be more proud of you!!!!

I did it mom, I’m a natural pro bodybuilder.

I don’t even know where to start, this past year has been the toughest year of my life. I got my mom taken away from me, she was my favorite person on the planet and my best friend. She was the sweetest, most caring, and kindest person I knew. Perfection is an understatement when describing her.
I was in a deep hole I never thought I’d get myself out of. There were days I didn’t know how I was going to keep going, let alone build a life that looked anything like normal. I questioned everything, my purpose, my direction, what I was even supposed to do with myself. But she always taught me to never give up, and I didn’t. Every time I wanted to quit on myself, I thought about the way she showed up for everyone else no matter what she was carrying. So I decided to enter a bodybuilding show and dedicate the entire prep to her. After four months of prep, I ended up taking first in all of my classes, winning the overall, and turning pro.
I could not have done any of this without my coach @blankslatefitness_91 and posing coach @jr_siskey_training and especially my beautiful girlfriend @mack.carson05 thank you so much for all of your support during prep ❤️ To my friends and family who checked in, showed up, and believed in me even on the days I didn’t believe in myself, thank you.
No matter how deep of a hole you’re in remember, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
