Hi Dad. I can’t wrap my head around the fact that it’s Father’s Day and you aren’t here. We were supposed to have 30 more. It still doesn’t feel real - I wonder why you aren’t at family parties, I start to text you when something exciting happens and I still expect your call when I miss a student loan payment (bet you’re happy it doesn’t effect your credit anymore). But the sadness I feel in those moments, when I realize you aren’t there and those texts/calls won’t come, is taken over by my memories of you. Those moments remind me of the 29 years I got to spend with you and how I always knew you had my back. You were there and always showed your love, even in the times that I didn’t deserve it. You will forever be my dad, my coach, my friend. And those moments remind me that you will still be there loving, supporting and cheering me on during the biggest parts of my life, now just in my heart. I love you, Dad. I’m gonna make you proud 🤍 by @reeganmck
