This is the easiest way to remove a hook. Painless and fast!

Step 1. Create a loop around the hook using braid or mono.

Step 2. The person hooked can press down on the eye of the hook to allow the barb to back out the same way in went in.

Step 3. Give yourself some slack on the braid and count to three. Pop it like it’s hot and fast on 2 so your patient doesn’t expect it.

The Uni-knot is the first knot we teach to beginners. It is used for tying hooks, swivels, lures and joining leader to main line. Tag a fishing buddy who needs to learn this knot.

The FG knot is a lot easier to tie than you would think and it’s so “freaking good”!

It’s one of the thinnest and strongest knots for tying braid to mono/fluoro.

Epic battle with a fish of a lifetime in South Florida. We hooked this fish on the left long kite bait with 20 pound line in 180ft off the Diamonds. Two and a half hours later in 850 ft of water off of Hollywood we boated this beautiful yellowfin tuna. We had the right man on the rod. Stew had caught plenty of big tunas and had the patience and also the feel to put just the right amount of pressure on this light tackle. Even after Billy got a dart in her,
she still fought us for almost a half hour with a dart in her back. Great fish on light line with a great group of guys.
