We were so grateful for the beautiful reviews, kind words, and support this show received. Every laugh, every clap, every conversation after the show reminded us why spaces like this matter. QUEER! was about more than performance. It was about being seen, being heard, and celebrating stories that still need room to breathe. SILVER VENUE — May 13, 16, 17, 20, 21 & 24 The theater is not only comedy. It is a maximum expression and, at times, an honest one. This piece represents not only critique; it represents identity, family, learned behaviors, culture, and above all, the love that the world can receive just by listening. I am still reflecting on a notebook of cultures coming together in a shared feeling. Music, spoken word, and integration all woven into one experience—translated for everyone and by everyone. Because it is even accessible with subtitles. QUEER! is a moving, inspiring, and entertaining theater piece by Descolonizarte Teatro (Desco), built from the real-life stories of diverse Queer Latinx individuals in our community.
