It’s always bittersweet to say it but “that’s a wrap” on the 2026 Outlaws Spring hockey season. What a season it was. 5 home tournaments. 22 exhibition games. 90 Development Team ice times. 3 blended games. 32 off-ice Strength & Scoring sessions. 6 away tournament weekends including 1 with 6 participating Outlaws teams in Calgary.  90 practice ice times. 25 skills and goalie coach appearances. And hopefully………a lot of happy kids and parents! We would like to thank everyone who tried out to be part of it back in December. Everyone who participated in one of our programs including our Performance Teams and Development Teams. All the visiting teams that came to 1 of our home tournament weekends.  The referees and Chris Ashburn for helping us coordinate them all.  City of Vernon staff for never missing a beat…..and cleaning up after us 😊 All our parent volunteers, Team Managers, Coaches, Assistant Coaches, on and off ice skills instructors, plus of course our Head Skills Instructor Max Mowat for wearing skates more frequently than he does shoes! Also a big shoutout to the extended families of our Outlaws players for tuning into livestreams and cheering us on from all over the globe! Of course we want to also thank our Premier Sponsor The Tile Guy for all of their support as well as all other partners and sponsors for their contributions (big or small) towards our programs. It takes a village to make this type of program happen and we are so grateful for all the support we get from this community. Up next for the Outlaws is the 3v3 Summer League, Summer Camps, and Tryout Prep Games.  Then we will flip the page and focus in on another great Spring season in 2027!  See you around a rink again soon and if not then have an amazing summer and we hope to see you again next season!
