We are proud to have been entrusted with guiding the industrial design and creative identity of the new @lamy_global safari note+. The goal was to develop a digital pen that unmistakably embodies the essence of a pen - seamlessly blending the iconic, ergonomic design language of LAMY’s Safari classic with the precision of modern technology. Say hello to the OVIS rocking horse, that we have designed in close collaboration with @beckerbrakel known for constantly challenging the status quo in furniture manufacturing. Our shared passion for innovative design and sustainable manufacturing brought us together to create this fun project, which puts a fresh spin on a childhood classic and showcases the unique properties of Becker’s innovative material, FormVlies made from recycled plastic bottles. We unveiled OVIS for the first time at the Becker Design Forum during the Interzum fair in Cologne. It’s currently on display there until the end of the day. Finally tomorrow it's time for the final presentations of our design students at the @burg_halle & @burg_keramikglasdesign university of art & design. Table culture and nutrition are subject to constant change today, influenced by social trends and the requirements of different cultural backgrounds. This year's semester project "Quo Vadis Table Culture" dealt with the question of how food can be stored, prepared and consumed in a contemporary living and working environment in an inspiring and solution-oriented manner. Furthermore, the students from the basic semester course project "Mix & Match - Taste Fusions" will also present their beautiful creations. The Skwad shelf system for @caussadesign comes from the idea of combining different shelf elements to create a variety of configurations on the wall. What makes the Olfiant special is not only the collaboration with the 'Save Africa’s Elephants' and @caussadesign, but also the beauty of the porcelain material and the people behind the manufacturing process. This short movie shows the passion, time and complexity of making this little ceramic sculpture. Save Africa’s Elephants helps to foster young orphaned elephants and returning them back into the wild. With every purchased Olifant a portion of the revenue automatically goes to this organization.
