I recently shared a video of my wedding at 30, only to face hate in the comments, with men using derogatory terms like “expired” and “damaged goods.” It’s disheartening to witness such objectification. I believe this negativity stems from unresolved issues in their lives. I genuinely wish them healing. Let’s strive for a society that empowers, breaks toxic stereotypes, and refrains from judgment. We should celebrate each other’s victories and allow everyone to live true to themselves. I was invited by @anishavasanicreates @luxuristmag @mvm.worldwide to celebrate the London launch of @dyavol.afterdark founded by talented @___aryan___ , son of Bollywood icon @iamsrk What an incredible night @cirquelesoir! A room filled with celebrities, @khushikapoor @satish.sanpal @dyutiparruck @ananyapanday familiar faces @aniladhami @iqueenofficial and @trishalalakhani some of the biggest names from the world of entertainment, all coming together to celebrate D’YAVOL arriving in London. So lovely catching up with old friends, meeting some fabulous people and, of course, enjoying a little Bollywood glamour in London. Hello you beauties! Yesterday I had the pleasure of celebrating the launch of the second issue of @maisonnurmagazine What an enchanting evening, hosted by the beautiful @kanizali , who truly is just as wonderful on the inside as she is on the outside. One of the things I admire most about Kaniz is the way she lifts people. She has a genuine gift for making others feel seen, valued and celebrated. In a world where it’s easy to compete, she chooses to encourage, support and champion those around her, and I think that’s something really special. Held @claridgeshotel in London, the room was filled with inspirational, talented and genuinely lovely people. Congratulations to @markvandelli on being the cover star of this latest issue. He is an incredible sport too and I love his sense of humour. The evening was filled with delicious food, wonderful conversations, plenty of laughter and the chance to meet some incredible people. I left feeling inspired and grateful. And now, this beautiful second issue will be taking pride of place on my coffee table, gracefully replacing issue one and continuing to inspire every time I see it. No hello beauties today! I swear Gen Z directors are a different breed. 😂 Apparently I wasn’t supposed to ask questions… I was just meant to trust the process. No direction. No “chin up.” No “look here.” Just vibes. Meanwhile I’m overheating, questioning every life choice I’ve ever made, and wondering why half the footage is her hair and the other half looks like it was filmed through a greasy kitchen window. The vision? Luxury. Cinematic. Quiet wealth. The reality? A menopausal mum looking like she’d been discovered on a sun lounger. The good news? In our house we live by one motto: we never give up. So by the end of this summer, Mimi will either be the next @martinscorsese_ … or I’ll have confiscated her phone. The only professional on set was my @maccosmeticsuki lip gloss. Hello you beauties, Many of you tell me you love my energy, that I am funny, that I am the life of the party. I can walk into a room and light it up, I can carry laughter like it weighs nothing. What you do not see is the life behind that smile. I have lived so many lives, and I am still searching for peace. I am a tenacious woman, but I have survived things I cannot even put into words, things I have never spoken to another soul. Strength became my language long before I had a choice. Healing is happening, but parts of me are still broken, and both can exist at the same time.
