From dance moves to paint strokes, our Spring Showcase was filled with creativity, joy & unforgettable moments ✨🎨💃

Kids and adults lit up the stage and gallery with talent, laughter, smiles, and beautiful energy all around. Add in great refreshments and an amazing community, and it was truly a night to remember 💛

We’re honored to receive the Merit Award from the Gutierrez Memorial Fund for our ongoing history project about 1505 Eutaw Place, home to generations of organizing, faith, and community care.

Today we’re out at the 5K sharing our findings, tracing the story of our site from its origins as Native land, to its transition into deeded land, to the Phoenix Club, to the Amalgamated Textile Workers Union Hall, to The Empowerment Temple, to the Family Life Center, and finally to present-day Baltimore Unity Hall.

We found stories of how people came together to build something powerful when they were excluded elsewhere. From labor organizing and union roots to faith leadership and present day community collaboration, Baltimore Unity Hall carries all these legacies forward, alive and thriving under one roof.

Living Flowers was an immersive art exhibit focusing on highlighting Baltimore creatives and their life journey’s through coloring sheets. The community came together to live paint canvases.
