On this day, 23 years ago, we had the greatest celebration of and for our love. Surrounded by our family, we vowed to take on whatever would come our way, together, and we certainly have! We are a testament to the power of love, commitment, and endurance, and if I had to do it all again, I wouldn’t change anything about YOU @venessarose ! (Me, on the other hand? I would’ve left my 2-way pager in the truck instead of on my hip, probably wouldn’t have had a Heineken in my pocket during our first dance, and definitely should’ve considered putting a few envelopes on the Patriots winning their first ever Super Bowl the following day..) Thank you to our entire village that have supported us throughout this journey, and for those who missed the party- maybe we’ll do another one..cause, why not? Happy Anniversary, Babe! ✌🏼😘✌🏼😘✌🏼😘

She texted “Always protecting me♥️”. “Don’t Stop Believing” was me and my Mom’s song. It’s been almost 20 years since she passed, and her Granddaughter turns 19 in a couple weeks. It breaks my heart that they were never able to meet each other, but at the same time, I think she’s her. My Mom had me at 16, and was racing against time to figure out life while providing for me and my sisters; a borderline impossible challenge. I’ve had almost 19 years of rejuvenation, to refocus, and ensure that @d.kodah13 never has to endure any of the things that I went through, and has the complete opportunity to flourish and shine. To date, she’s crushed everything- most importantly making an impact on SO many people, via numerous avenues, like her Grandmother would’ve. I have an adult child, and I give her the space that she deserves, resulting in videos like this. This kid had the nerve to tell me she loves me more than I love her.. haha.. good luck with that one!
