In House Showcase . . @definitives the place that gave my art, my willpower, My story a home. A place where I watch a Mentor/Yonko turn big brother stood by me in and outside of art, and held me down in some of the most darkest time in my life. To the OGS (you know who yall are) thank you for helping me on my journey. . . @therealglennhudson I know your not a fan of being in the spotlight so ill keep this short. Thank you for being you and not folding. You taught us to have courage in time where there is none, you taught us to be loyal but what makes it special is that you taught us to be all of that to ourselves first before anything. You know how many teams are here today because of you. The sheer amount of generational talent that has trained with or been in dfam is something that needs to be studied. IYKYK. ANYWAYS 11 year and counting im still seeing you push the boundaries, honestly as friend/brother i can only be in awe and simply be proud of what you do and continue to do, but as an artist keeps my Haki sharp and for that I thank you forever. . . 🎥 @allieam . . #dance #southlondon #westlondon

This piece was done at our 'Home is where the heART is' show in November but the apparel didn't arrive so wanted to display it with the apparel. The people in our squad are so unapologetically them and they have space to be that and at the same time respect eachother and their differences, proud of their work. The theoretical aspect of the teaching is how we at dfam get across what is is we are trying to get across. Being able to articulate a feeling, sound, texture, bounce, rhythm, aesthetic etc allows everyone access to the understanding of something. Movement is natural to us but the processing and understanding of what you are doing is where the real skills take place. You will dance, you will listen and you will discuss in order to find true mastery of the art form.
