‘Rain Showers’ I wrote this song a day after my bro transitioned, sitting at the beach as a storm was coming in. The next day I had to record it and express my feelings the best way I know how. This covers represents a soul being accepted into a better life after they pass. My hope is that this becomes relatable to a lot of people who deal with the passing of a loved one. One of the most personal songs I ever wrote, I recently listened back to this and found another level of love for it. Being able to be vulnerable on wax is something I had to grow into but the results speak for itself. S/O to everyone who has listened to 1995 since it’s release along with the entire SOULO II EP.
