Last week my sweet girl, Bugsy Lulubelle Nguyen DeWitt née Nissan Juke got taken out by a corvette while she was minding her own business. Luckily, no one was hurt. She was a bit high maintenance but a fine car. Hope they have gallons of super on tap in car heaven or wherever. 💔🕊️

Had a blast working on “I Tried a Nuclear War Simulation” with @michellekhare. Another team effort of love. As a post producer shaping the story with @garrettkennell @hhilliersmith @its_ryangonzales and Michelle was rewarding & existential. On this one I’m particularly proud of this motion graphic I made with the blueprints of @willcarmack excellent graphic treatment. Check it out!

Got the Old Fashioned recipe from @yellowbelkykelly:

2oz butter washed whiskey
.25-.5oz honey syrup
2 dashes orange bitters
2 dashes cinnamon bitters
.25oz vanilla liqueur

Making stuff up with the Cookies:
1/4 cup bourbon butter from process
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour (gotta be King Arthur and maybe Ashley gets residuals)
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips (I prefer dark chocolate)

My 2023 started with my doctor telling me I was overweight and needed to start moving again. I decided to prioritize my health after 3 years of sedentary living. 2023 was high highs and low lows. Halfway through the year I sprained my ankle (singing karaoke 🫣) on the same week my entire team was laid off. Comfort eating/drinking halted progress, but life happens sometimes. I bounced back and have even tried to contact sport of karaoke once again. Happy New Year! 🎤💥

6 months of progress. I went to the doctor at the beginning of 2023, she told me I was overweight and my fatty liver had a lot of strain. She recommended 45 minutes of exercise a day, less junk food, and to cut back on drinking. I did all 3 and now the blood tests say my liver is back to normal! What’s not shown are the dozens of times I did not want to workout, the willpower to not eat an entire bag of chips in one sitting, nor the many times I thought “Man, I could use a drink!” and stopped myself. I promise you, you can take the steps to be healthier. It won’t always be easy, but you can do it. #fitnessjourney #fitnesschallenge #weightloss
