There was some concern expressed by a few people about the upper shock mount being "out of alignment" with the direction of travel on our Tacoma kit. And while I get the concern, there was more to the equation than what was initially shown. Now that we have a proof of concept to show how things actually work, here is the amount of deflection that the upper shock bushing sees throughout the entire travel.

All of the bolt interfaces on our Tacoma kits are set up like this. This particular part is the upper A-arm and uses an AN bolt for the uniball/upper ball joint. For those who aren't familiar with AN bolts, they are the type of fasteners used on aircraft for their consistency and are sold based on the grip length ("grip" is the unthreaded portion of the bolt) and has just enough thread past that for a nut.
