I think this is the weirdest film I’ve made. I was living in Amsterdam with my roommates at that time. One of them decided to take truffles and tried to talk to me while being high af. We had a conversation about how crazy it was to become such good friends in a short period of time and how we were probably not gonna see each other again because we came from opposite regions of our little planet. We made little research about shadows and their cultural aspects throughout history because we thought they could be a good metaphor of time running after friendships. This is about all friendships in general and how fast they can grow and vanish. Don’t let them. We wrote a couple of short scenes. We knew we only had a shit camera and no sound. Thus we made a silent movie. We did the whole film together, all my roommates. @elgartner became a DOP even though she had never done that before, @lina.bab and Amelie became shadows, @trevasaurus_rx, @nusem44 tried to be actors and my mate @mistthom composed the entire soundtrack. This epidemic made me think about this story again. It is such a strange time. It made me want to write stories again. Let’s try to think, write, create and get out of this with new ideas. It might be time to change our crazy consumption habits. Stay safe. Love you and #staythefuckhome

This is a music video I made for the amazing track “Four Gut” from alfons_robert five years ago. I just saw that it has crossed the 45k views on YouTube so I wanted to share it again here.
