AI is my video editor too. I told it what i wanted and it took 10 mins, edited the video, and voila the new version was done. now we have consistent backgrounds across all AI twins in the Fanisin app. its fun when you continue to get surprised by the capabilities of this tech.

i only discovered this recently but now my AI agents run from inside my backpack while i walk around. no desk. no Mac Mini. no expensive cloud server. just my laptop zipped in my bag. here’s how i did it:

everyone thinks you need a fancy always on machine to run AI agents 24/7. you don’t. you already own everything you need.

the full setup:

1. i downloaded a free app called Amphetamine on my MacBook Pro. it keeps the laptop fully awake around the clock, even with the lid shut and buried in my bag. no sleeping, no dropping out. The cool part is the battery lasts even longer when the screen is off.
2. for internet, the laptop just connects to my iPhone hotspot. so it has signal literally anywhere i go.
3. i run all my agents in Codex on the desktop app, then control every conversation and agent straight from my phone through the iOS app.

that’s the whole trick. the MacBook is the engine, my phone is the remote, and the entire thing lives on my back.

so while everyone is glued to a desk, my agents keep working while im having coffee, in between flights, or walking between meetings. I even have it in the locker while I’m at the gym. maybe that’s a bit much lol.

mission accomplished. the past 19 day hacker house experience in SF lived up to the hype, and then some.

i can honestly say there’s no better way to get right into the thick into the tech scene.

it feels like you’ve been plonked into a community full of misfits, but everyone has that burning flame inside them to do something big.

that was what was so cool about it. being surrounded by dreamers.

from kids straight out of college to experienced founders who’ve done multiple fundraises.

if u want to experience the one place in the world where it feels normal to dream big and do something crazy, where you’re living on the precipice of innovation and people pushing the boundaries, then there’s no better place or way to do it than immersing yourself in a hacker/founder house in SF.

Patrick Santiago and Daniel Morgan at Accelr8 have done a phenomenal job bringing this community together. thanks for having me ✌️

i’m pumped to get back soon.

next stop, Vegas.
