Happy Mother's Day weekend! We learn so much from watching our kids grow up, of course it's difficult, it can be sad. But it's also such a joy seeing our kids and ourselves as parents change by learning from each other! What are the lessons you still hold onto from childhood and what do you let fall away? Back in February we came across a bunch of these Prairie Crayfish at the @baker.wetlands . It felt like spring then and it feels like spring now - get outside and enjoy it if you can! Paired with this footage is our song Last Stand from the 'how to hold a bug' album - give it a listen - we've got it on vinyl, cd, digital and streaming!

Here's a couple shots of us making the "balloon" music video - We ended up using a fishing pole to keep the balloon from leaving the planet and have it float past Spencer, lots easier that flying a kite.
