👋 Let me re-introduce myself!

Hello, my names Julia. A year has gone by so fast and the person in this video I barely recognize but I’m proud that she’s persevered through many challenges she was not expecting to go through.

The mindset she had she wouldn’t even begin to understand where life was about to take her. These clips were filmed nearly a year ago when the people pleasing was at its highest.

Being a people pleaser is not easy to just all the sudden stop. Going through therapy trying to understand patterns, behaviours, and cycles is no joke.

But having to separate yourself from people who you feel loyal to in order to please them versus understanding your own needs and what it is that you need from those types of relationships is difficult.

Looking back, there’s no way she would’ve known what was about to come. An end of an almost 8 year relationship, end of close friendships, even becoming FUNEMPLOYED. There was no stopping the universe of all those things happening, and all at ONCE 😅

At the end of the day, she has become the most authentic version of herself. Learning how to do things for her, even when friends and family question her madness 🤭😅 (sorry not sorry)

Now there’s genuine laughter, a drive for purpose and less care about societal expectations.

🥂 Cheers, to not knowing where I’ll be in another year from now but excited to see the growth.
