🎨 Skip the at-home craft mess and let someone else handle the cleanup. 🙌 We finally checked out Brightly Art Studio in downtown Brownsburg, and it was such a fun way to spend the afternoon! If your kids love getting creative, this is one spot you'll definitely want to add to your list. ✨ What to expect: • Process-based art where creativity comes first (no pressure to make everything "perfect!") • Preschool playgroups, workshops, art clubs, camps, family events, and more for a variety of ages. • Friendly instructors who encourage kids to explore, imagine, and create at their own pace. • Be ready for a little mess... so dress in clothes you don't mind getting paint on! 📍 Located at 22 E. Main Street in Brownsburg. 🎨 Looking for a casual visit? Their Drop-In Craft Café is open: • Saturdays: 10:00 AM–1:30 PM • Sundays: 1:00–4:00 PM No registration is required for the Craft Café, but many classes and workshops do require advance registration. I bet you’ve never heard of some of these ice cream flavors… 👀🍦 In honor of National Ice Cream Day, I stopped by @DannysMexicanIceCream to try some of the most unique flavors you’ll find in Hendricks County. From Hot Honey Goat Cheese to flavors you probably didn’t even know existed, everything is made in-house, and the owner, Danny, is always dreaming up new flavors to try. 📍The Hideout 554 Pit Rd Brownsburg, IN Finally made it over to Brownsburg to check out @hendrickshideout! This drive over was totally worth it! We paired it with a visit to @bestfriendscoffeebagels to make the trip extra worth it. We were playing for almost 2 hours! Here is your sign to romanticize your summer with a trip to pick your own flowers. 🌸 Beasley's Orchard in Danville has officially opened their u-pick flower field, filled with beautiful zinnias, sunflowers, and other seasonal blooms. It’s one of my favorite ways to slow down and soak up a Midwest summer. Choose your container, grab the provided clippers, and fill it with as many flowers as you can fit! 🌼 Know before you go: 📍 Beasley's Orchard | Danville, IN 💵 Field Fee: $3 per person (ages 2 & under are free) 💐 Small Mason Jar: $10 (about ½ dozen flowers) 💐 Medium Mason Jar: $20 (about 1 dozen flowers) 💐 Large Bucket: $35 (about 2 dozen flowers) ✂️ Clippers are provided ⏰ Last entry into the flower field is **5:00 PM** (orchard closes at 6:00 PM) 🌻 Flower availability changes throughout the season, so be sure to check Beasley's social pages before heading out. ✨ Save this for your summer bucket list, and tag the person you're bringing to pick flowers with you! 🌸

National Fried Chicken Day is July 6th and there is no better place in Hendricks County to have fried chicken than Mayberry Cafe on the historic square in Danville! Serving classic comfort food since 1989, Mayberry Cafe is known for its delicious food and nostalgic atmosphere inspired by the 1960s. The restaurant brings The Andy Griffith Show to life by playing classic episodes throughout the dining room and displaying memorabilia that fans of the show will love.
