Allow me to reintroduce myself… It’s Ann-Margaret 💁🏽‍♀️

Earlier this year, I thought about changing my IG name and I could not figure out what I wanted my handle to be so I abandoned the idea. Yesterday, it became a thought again. What better way to have my Instagram page reflect who I am and the phase of life I’m in by affirming who I am, who I am called to be and lend a helping hand to people faced with some of the same phases of life I’m in!

I’m certain I am not the only girlie just trying to do more than exist! And I know I’m not the only girlie on their faith journey! I know I am not the only girlie trying not to be consumed with their many roles in life and want to be intentional about becoming their best selves!

I don’t know it all, I’m not perfect and trust me, I’m figuring it out just like everyone else. My hope is to at least help one person as I share more of me. 💗

Slow days. Good books. Full cup only.

There’s something quietly sacred about slow days—the kind where the world doesn’t demand anything from you, and you finally get to return to yourself. A good book becomes more than just a pastime; it becomes a place of refuge, reflection, and restoration.

We often move through life believing rest is something to earn, something to squeeze in after everything else is done. But slow days challenge that mindset. They remind us that we are not machines designed only to produce and perform—we are people who need space to breathe, to think, and to simply be.

Self-care is not indulgence. It is maintenance. It is the intentional act of pouring back into the parts of you that get depleted by responsibility, noise, and constant doing. And the truth remains simple but necessary: you cannot pour from an empty cup.

So many times we let life’s obstacles convince us that we can’t live a positive life. But Romans 12:2 reminds us:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Renew your mind.
Renew your thoughts.
Speak life over yourself.
Think on what is true, lovely, and good.

Transformation starts in the mind first. 🤍

It’s not just about if it will happen — it’s about when. God is so intentional with everything! What’s meant for us isn’t forgotten, it’s being aligned.

Sometimes we’re ready emotionally, but not spiritually. Or the promise is ready, but the environment isn’t. This verse reassures me, and hopefully you, that God is working behind the scenes. Just sit down and let him work! ❤️
