🥊 Coach Sebastian showing two great options when your opponent catches your roundhouse kick. Ine simple and one a little more fun. 😎 Option 1️⃣: Pull them in, free your leg, and immediately attack from the clinch. Option 2️⃣: Circle your leg to the inside, hop up, and land a sharp elbow over the top. 💥 Knowing how to react when your kick gets caught can turn a bad position into an offensive opportunity. Strong performance for @crazy88mma teammate @jimbrobrahshears this weekend as he defends his @stellarfights @wka.usa title. Jimmy is ranked as the #1 amateur lightweight in all of North America, and continues to improve in his young career. Going into this fight i told Jimmy “we all know you can wrestle, use this as a chance to build confidence in the your striking skills in the cage” he did what was asked of him, and proved to himself that he is a well rounded fighter. Were going to look for a few more tough challenges to make sure he is ready for the Pro ranks, then its off to the races. Shout out to Dylan, who was a dog and made it a fight for all 5 rounds. Thanks to coaches @jjackson_mma @jason_wilson96 for holding down the corner, and all the teammates that help prepare. Teamwork makes the dream work.

This weeks Combat Grappling lesson plan revolves around trapping our opponents wrist to control direction and limit their ability to defend GNP strikes. Join us every Tuesday & Thursday 5pm for all levels Combat Grappling @crazy88mma where we cover concepts ranging from takedown setups, cage wrestling, positional grappling and Ground and Pound.

Great showing last night from the @crazy88mma team. @_erznn made his sanctioned KB debut against a much bigger opponent and had a technical, and aggressive performance. @stonecoldtius had a tough, undefeated grappler opponent and was able to control the cage and defend all takedowns en route to a 1st rd KO via knee to the body. @jimbrobrahshears has a style that is going to see alot of success as a professional, ive hardly seen him lose a round in any fight, and last night he dominated through to a 4th rd RNC to retain his @stellarfights title. Now and 5-0 and 8-0 respectively, Steve and Jimmy are at a point as amateurs where its our job to find as many challenges and curveballs as possible to test them before they go Pro. Thanks @delbruggemma @jjackson_mma @sleepy__sage for being in the corner!
