South Carolina, what an honor it was to represent the Palmetto State this year, and I hope I made you proud. This year I learned wisdom, integrity and how to be authentically myself. Although it may not have been pretty at times, it’s safe to say that this year I was pushed to recognize my own potential.

From the moment she was crowned, she led with so much grace, dedication, and a genuine heart for service. Leah, you have left an undeniable legacy this year. From your incredible work with ‘Rooted in Service’ to inspiring military kids everywhere with your book 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘦. South Carolina has been so incredibly lucky to have you.

Miss Teen USA was a dream ✨
I had less than 1.5mths to prep for Teen USA, and when they say it takes a village- it truly did! I am forever grateful for mine. My entire community came together to make this dream happen for me- coaches, sponsors, family/friends, community members, strangers, local businesses. My heart is full and I am filled with love and pride 💖

The prep is done, now it’s time to show it.

As I try to get in last minute prep before finals, I can’t help but reflect on these last 2 months. I’ve been living a dream, but it’s one built on years of passion and hard work.

Advocating for military children like myself and showing their resiliency sharing my story and inspiring others to share their stories. No longer are my differences my weaknesses. Instead they have become my superpower.

No matter what unfolds today, I am confident that my God doesn’t deal out accidents. He uses all things for the good of those who believe in him whether they wear an earthly crown or not. My hope is in Heaven, even while my feet are planted in Reno😇❤️
