Fenway night 4, moths for @noahkahanmusic 👐🏼 I’m still deep in outfit creation land so not sure I’ve processed it. Stuck my head up a few times through the week to watch livestreams of the outfits running around on stage in front of over 150,000 people. I stayed home instead of flying out to the shows to work on the rest of the tour, I don’t want to miss a day giving you the best of what I’ve got. I’m the luckiest girl in the world to help bring this vision to life. Delved into textile design here. Hand painted bamboo silk moths, hand dyed cheesecloths, raw fabrics all sourced from independent businesses. Would usually 100% stitch but had to withstand guitars! Fenway, night 3, beetles! 🪲 Painted through the night. Regular non-metallic paint but I think it worked well to be shiny under the lights. Fabric was delicious to paint on. Watched this set head out on stage on a grainy livestream at 1am and cried. Hand painted ladybug set for @noahkahanmusic night 2 at @fenwaypark ❤️ There’s nothing I can say to convey how fulfilling it is to be designing and making the outfits for The Great Divide tour. Completely immersed, sticking my head above water periodically to see if you’re enjoying them. Thank you for the encouragement, it’s fuelling the long days. Yes, I used my old curtain samples on @noahkahanmusic’s jacket. I’m so incredibly excited to show you the creations for this tour, every single piece had not only Noah but the sweet fans in mind. I hope you love all the tiny references, could not have immersed myself into the world of The Great Divide more and it’s the highest honour to play a tiny part in expressing it on stage. I’ll share a more detailed look soon but for now, enjoy :) This was the first piece I made, so it’s fitting that it was worn on the first night.
