Quand Utah a commencé sa mue, je me suis dit qu'il y avait sûrement une meilleure idée que de jeter tous ces poils... 🐺
Alors je les ai gardés pour rembourrer la petite peluche de mon cosplay de Gemma. 💙
Au final, une petite partie d'elle m'a accompagnée sur scène, et cette peluche est devenue mon porte-bonheur. ✨
Je trouve ça assez beau de donner une seconde vie à quelque chose d'aussi inattendu.
Est-ce que vous auriez osé faire la même chose ? 👀

When Utah started shedding, I thought there had to be a better idea than just throwing all that fur away... 🐺
So, I kept it to stuff the little plushie for my Gemma cosplay. 💙
In the end, a little piece of her joined me on stage, and that plushie became my lucky charm. ✨

I find it really beautiful to give a second life to something so unexpected.

Work in progress de ma perruque de Gemma !

Dernière partie de ce processus, le ponytail !
J’ai testé pour la première fois d'utiliser une frite de piscine, mais je n’ai pas trouvé ça très pratique, la prochaine fois je réaliserais de la mousse !
Pour faire du volume, j’ai bouclé pas mal de petite mèches, qui une fois brossées donne un aspect très messy qui me plait beaucoup 🫶

Oui il fait chaud, le ventilo s’entend dans le micro 🫠

The final part of the process: the ponytail!
I tried using a pool noodle for the first time, but I didn't find it very practical; next time, I'll shape it out of foam instead!
To create volume, I curled quite a few small sections of hair; once brushed out, they give a really messy look that I love 🫶

Yes, it’s hot, you can hear the fan in the mic 🫠

Work in progress de ma perruque de Gemma !

Dans cette deuxième partie, on s'intéresse à la stylisation.
Notamment du côté ponytail, malheureusement je n’ai pas filmé pour le côté “rasé”, j’ai surtout créé des petits pics avec les mèches courtes coupées 🫣

Et puis je trouve que d’ajouter un peu de reflet à l’aérographe change tout ✨

Oui il fait chaud, le ventilo s’entend dans le micro 🫠

In this second part, we’re focusing on the styling.
Specifically the ponytail section, unfortunately, I didn’t film the “shaved” side; I mostly just created small spikes using the short strands I’d cut off 🫣

And I feel like adding a few airbrushed highlights makes all the difference ✨

Work in progress de ma perruque de Gemma !

J’ai dû le faire en trois parties, car il y a eu pas mal d’étapes !

Je partage les principales, car je n’ai pas su tout filmé, surtout que j’ai recommencé certaine partie dont je n’étais pas satisfaite ! Mais je suis tellement fière du résultat 🧡

Ici on prépare la perruque, avec la base, les weft etc…

J’espère que cette vidéo sera tout de même intéressante ✨

A work-in-progress look at my Gemma wig!

I had to split this into three parts because there were quite a few steps involved! I’m sharing the main ones, since I couldn't film everything, especially since I redid certain sections I wasn't happy with! But I’m so proud of the result 🧡

Here, I’m prepping the wig, working on the base, the wefts, and so on...

Vlog Japex !

Ce week-end c’était la Japan Expo à Paris et j’y étais avec les copains de Lovecraft !

C’était bien rempli, j’ai pu faire pas mal de shooting, notamment de Rei avec @mephine.exe en Asuka ! Zoey et Suigintou, et le dimanche j’ai tenté les sélections avec ma Gemma, c’était une expérience folle ! J’ai stressé comme jamais, mais passer sur scène c’était vraiment trop chouette ✨

J’ai appris plein de choses pour la suite et ça m’a bien motivé ! Et j’ai eu des supers retours sur ce cosplay j’en suis trop fière 🫶
Et puis j'avais un super ninja @draga_cosplay 😁

This weekend was Japan Expo in Paris, and I was there with my friends from Lovecraft!

It was packed! I managed to do quite a few shoot,—especially with Mephine as Asuka and also shot Zoey and Suigintou. On Sunday, I tried my hand at the qualifiers with my Gemma cosplay; it was a wild experience! I was incredibly nervous, but getting up on stage was so much fun ✨

I learned a lot for the future, and it’s really motivated me! Plus, I got amazing feedback on this cosplay—I’m so proud of it 🫶
And I have a perfect ninja @draga_cosplay

On a eu beaucoup de chance pour ce shooting de mon cosplay de Frieren aux falaises de Normandie, nous avons eu le droit à une golden hour incroyable, des couleurs magnifiques et un superbe coucher de soleil en prime 🌇 !
C’était un moment magique, avec juste le bruit des vagues et des mouettes 🕊️
Et en prime, je suis trop contente de ces photos, les lumières sont incroyables ✨

We got so lucky with this photoshoot of my Frieren cosplay at the cliffs of Normandy—we were treated to an incredible golden hour, gorgeous colors, and a stunning sunset to top it off 🌇!
It was a magical moment, with nothing but the sound of the waves and the seagulls 🕊️
And as a bonus, I’m so happy with these photos; the lighting is incredible ✨

Work in progress Frieren

Petit wip du bâton de mon cosplay de Frieren, j’adore le rendu !
Impression 3D, mousse, foam clay, résine.. J’adore les projets qui mêlent plusieurs techniques !
Malheureusement il n’a pas résisté à sa première convention, la tige que j’avais mis dans la tête n’étais pas assez solide, mais on a réparé tout ça ! 🔥

Shooting Suigintou 🥀

Mon tout premier shooting de mon cosplay de Suigintou, réalisé en Normandie à côté d’une petite chapelle ! 🖤

On y a été de bonne heure le matin et je suis trop contente de l’atmosphère ! C’est vraiment ce que j’avais en tête et pour des premières photos de ce costume, j’en suis ravie !

Je suis trop contente de ce shooting, j'avais retravaillé ma wig, et ça m'a réconcilié avec ce Cosplay !

Petit condensé de cette semaine passée en Normandie !

Un planning, bien rempli, des ballades, des shooting, des baignades, des verres en terrasse et quelques coups de soleil ☀️

Je suis trop contente des photos et vidéos qu’on a pu faire en cosplay, avec des lieux incroyables ! 🧡

Et puis un week-end avec les copains de @lovecraft_asso , encore des bons moments passés ensemble 🐙

Essayages cosplay ✨

J’ai reçu un dernier cadeau d’anniversaire, qui a mis pas mal de temps à arriver et que j’attendais avec impatience ♥

Je rêve de faire un cosplay d’une Rozen Maiden depuis plus de 15 ans…

Du coup aujourd’hui, on l’essaye ensemble, au vu d’un shooting avec !
