Each grain of rice represents an individual life lost in Gaza, a haunting tribute to the estimated 200,000 souls taken over the last 14 months.
This somber estimate reflects not only the staggering magnitude of loss but also the profound impact on countless families left in mourning.
The official death toll reported by media outlets remains under 50,000, as it only accounts for those positively identified, leaving many unnamed due to the tragic circumstances. The true number may never be known until decisive actions are taken to halt this tragedy.

When is this going to end? What kind of global movement would be needed to intervene and stop the ever-expanding Israel and the West-supported cruelty to the civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, and now Lebanon? What’s the goal here? Will the US let them drag us into another war to send our kids to die on their behalf?

Yesterday, I returned to my college campus to celebrate Vincent DiMattio, a great man who taught me everything about being an artist. He was my art professor, mentor, and role model. He even convinced me that I was Italian, despite another professor's attempt to convince me that I was Irish. You can see his lines, design, asemic scripts, and mysterious rituals in my work to this day. He's an inspiration and role model of how prolific an artist should be.
