Journeying with parents through all seasons of life, esp those with twins, triplets, quads & multiple children

Busy days + picky eaters = nutrient gaps (especially in toddlers). One easy fix? Ground flaxseeds! ✨

Whole flaxseeds often go right through the body, but grinding them unlocks powerful nutrients like:
✔️ Omega-3s for brain development
✔️ Fiber for healthy digestion
✔️ Lignans for immune support

🌱 It takes just seconds to grind a batch and sprinkle into smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, or even sauces — no taste, no fuss, just nutrients they’re actually absorbing. This immune booster is perfect for the whole family!

Store in the fridge to keep it fresh all week!

P.S. No bandwidth to grind it yourself? Storebought ground flaxseed works too, though nutrient levels may not be the same due to oxidation. Just ensure you store it properly!

Burping twins or triplets? 😮💨 We know it can feel like a never-ending cycle of feed, burp, repeat! Mastering a few key techniques can make a world of difference for your gassy newborns (and your sanity!).

Here’s a quick guide to our top burping tips for multiples:
✅ When to Burp: Mid-way through a feed, after a feed, and even if they seem fine—especially important for preemies.
✅ Best Positions: Try upright over the shoulder, face-down on your lap, or sitting up while supporting their chin.
✅ Pro Tip: Gently pat or rub their upper back. If one position doesn’t work after a few minutes, switch it up!
✅ Don’t Forget: “Bicycle legs” 🚴 can help relieve gas from below, and keeping babies upright for 10-15 minutes after feeding reduces spit-up. (Reflux wedges are a lifesaver!)

Some days, no matter how hard you try, it feels like it’s not enough. The house is a mess, the kids are fussy, and you’re running on fumes. Being patient with yourself is key, especially on those tough days. There are moments when it feels like you’ll never have a cup of coffee or tea hot again 🍵☕️✨ But those moments of chaos are temporary. You’re doing your best, and that’s enough. Hang in there, and know you’re not alone in this 💪🏼✨💙

Had a c-section and am wondering if there’s anything you can do to help with the healing of the scar? Indeed, many women still struggle with scar pain and sensitivity many months after surgery. Dr Claire Low (@thephysiomama) from @milestonephysiosg shows us two simple scar care techniques to help with the scar tissue using any oil or cream that you already have.

Technique 1: The Zig Zag
Use a cream or oil and apply it onto your c-section scar in a zigzag motion until it is fully absorbed.

Technique 2: The Pinch & Twist
Place your fingers across the scar as seen in the video. Pick it up, then pinch and twist. Repeat this along the scar ten times.

As for when you can start your scar massage, you should get the go-ahead from your gynaecologist at your post-op follow up. Typically, it will be around 4-6 weeks post surgery when the scar is dry, free of scabs/bleeding/oozing.
