June 2026 will go down in history as a modern resurgence of New York Natives reclaiming their roots as the purveyors of culture, community and having a good ass time.

We had the opportunity to dream up, build out and produce Legends of La Cultura: an experience we developed for @footlocker at the @116thstreetfestival on June 13th, 2026 in El Barrio aka Spanish Harlem. The team ate this up — nobody did it like this. We blessed the community with a full 360 experience including a custom fruit stand where they could buy the @nike Shox Puerto Rico, grab swag like pins, fans and bandanas. We even gave out free fruit for the folks to take home. Families and viejitos were so thankful.

We honored Bori culture with live music from @djchiquib @chiquitabrujita, @bomberxnyc, @tallertocaplena straight from PR and the magical @natalisruby blessed us with The PR National Anthem. We served over 900 free piraguas, hosted 60+ dominos games (some of yall battled @nems_fyl) and had friends from @ninaskyofficial to @oldfashionedhussle and @pangeaflow vibing with us all day.

We danced, we rejoiced, we stayed rooted in who we are and where we’re going as a community. It’s what New Yorkers do best.
