More from last week's special event announcing the Bill McDaniel's Foundation's $1 million pledge to support pediatric cancer programs at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands! The gift will primarily fund the expansion of the radiation oncology suite which provides care for children and adults. In honor of the commitment, the suite will be named the Bill McDaniels Foundation Radiation Oncology Suite at a future date. The Panda Cares® Center of Hope Music Therapy Room at Children’s Hospital promotes healing and well-being by providing a dedicated space that uses music to help address the physical and emotional needs of patients and families to reduce anxiety and provide comfort during treatment and hospital stays. Santa will be here this week, but he made an early appearance in November at Santa & Me, presented by @gregoryelectric and benefiting Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands! Little ones got to take photos with the big guy, create custom holiday plates with the @madplatter team, create their own stuffed animal, make ornaments for patients at Children’s Hospital, and so much more! Thank you to all of our sponsors and volunteers who made this special day one to remember!

Phase One had the wonderful opportunity to participate in Festival of Trees (check out our trio of sparkly trees we designed in the video!), so we wanted to spotlight this event and the organization behind it, Prisma Health Midlands Foundation (@phfoundation ). Prisma Health Midlands Foundation is the philanthropy arm of Prisma Health in the Midlands. They help with providing new equipment, the latest and greatest technologies, and new facilities. They also offer programs like Child Life, which offers emotional support for children at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital Midlands. We also got to hear a very powerful testimonial from Lindsey Priester, whose family greatly benefited from the Foundation during the scariest time of their lives.
