Pretend kitchen play is one of our favorites! My youngest loves when I set up a new theme for the kitchen. We had a lot of fun making pretend lemonade and limeade. He loved being the owner of the lemonade shop. Would your child enjoy this? Save and share with a friend and follow me for more ideas!🍋

Star Fizzy Play ⭐️ 🎇

Fizzy play is always a blast in our house! You can set it up so many different ways with different themes and colors. Here are two ways to do fizzy play:

Step 1: Put 3-4 spoonfuls or tablespoons of baking soda in a dish. We used our star bowls for 4th of July.
Step 2: Put 2 spoonfuls or tablespoons of citric acid in the same dish and mix together.
Step 3: Fill up squirt bottles with water and 1 squirt of dish soap.
Step 4: Put 3-4 drops of food coloring in each bottle and mix to get your color.
Step 5: Use the squirt bottles to squirt into the baking soda and citric acid mixture for lots of fizzy play fun!

Another way is using vinegar.
Step 1: Put 3-4 spoonfuls or tablespoons of baking soda in a dish. We used our star bowls for 4th of July.
Step 2: Fill up squirt bottles 3/4 full of vinegar, put in 1 squirt of dish soap and fill the rest of the bottle with water.
Step 3: Drop in 4 drops of food coloring in each bottle and shake gently.
Step 4: Use the squirt bottles to squirt into the baking soda for fizzy play fun!

Water Table Activity Part 1: Monster Truck Wash

I did a water table series and am bringing it back to reshare ideas! Water play is an absolute favorite and especially in the spring/summertime! If you have been following us you know one of our favorite vehicles are monster trucks. I set up a monster truck wash in our water table for my boys to play with and it was a hit!

We used our water table, favorite monster trucks, monster truck ramp, and bubble bath to make this wash. My boys had the best time launching their monster trucks and cleaning them in the bubbles! Comment WATER for a link to our water table, bubble bath and monster truck sets. 🛻 🧽 🫧

Cardboard Ice Cream Craft 🍦🍨

Fun summer crafts are definitely our jam! I saw this craft from @artbarblog and knew we had to recreate it. I cut out an ice cream cone shape from cardboard. We used our @tpgcreations paint sticks to color in the ice cream. We used @tpgcreations acrylic markers to draw the chocolate chips and draw the lines on the cone. We then glued on paper punch outs of circles and cut up straws for the sprinkles.
These were super fun to make and a great way to get creative this summer! Follow me for more fun summer activities. 🍦

I scream, you scream; we all scream for ice cream! Check out these awesome ideas:
