Still over the moon by how well my extreme girls did at nationals!! Making it to Finals at Nationals and then winning 1st in their category! This group of talented girls were my first ever group I was blessed to choreograph for competition so they hold such a special place in my heart 🩵 I wanted to create a work that was inspired by the sacrifices and the power that we women hold while still remaining beautiful and ethereal to the watching eye. Incredibly proud of my girls for all the hard work and dedication they showed me through this entire season. For my senior project I decided to produce a film directed and starring myself. This new found love for filmmaking started in my dance filmmaking class during my last semester of junior year. I want to thank everyone that helped me produce this film - it means so much to me that my friends and family believe in me so much to support me through this. My first ever choreographed piece “Count Me Out” is showcasing tonight at 5pm @ksudancedept The journey for the creation of this piece holds dear to my heart, and I couldn’t do it without the people I have in my circle.
