As a former athlete, I used to think recovery was all about stretching, hydration, and nutrition. Lately I’ve realized recovery actually starts the night before. Between training, busy days, and navigating perimenopause, staying cool while I sleep has become non-negotiable. As a coach, a mom, and someone who is always on the go, recovery is what allows me to keep showing up for my workouts, my family, and everything in between.
