Another milestone for e-mobility in Morocco.

Our partner @kilowatt.ma (CEO @alilakrakbi) has made it happen:
• the very first DC charger – made in Morocco, by Morocco.

In the near future, some existing AC chargers will be replaced by these new DC chargers – and many new locations will be equipped as well.

@rive2dakar also has good reasons to celebrate:
some of these DC chargers are expected to make their way to Mauritania and Senegal – supporting the next steps of electric mobility along the route.

Recently, with rising demand and still limited charging infrastructure, we have seen a noticeable shift towards hybrid vehicles.
With a stronger and more reliable charging network, e-mobility in the region can now accelerate even faster.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 – 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗲𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗰 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
This year, not only did several 𝗲𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 take on the challenge, but also an 𝗲𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 and 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀. The 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 definitely stole the show from every dromedary and performed far better than expected.
