Here are a few truths I’ve come to embrace, and I’m not ashamed to admit them:

1. When you put God first, everything else will fall in line.

2. It’s never too late to start over.

3. Some people are here for a season—let go when it’s time.

4. People may be hitting goals you’re striving for, but your blessings will come in due time.

5. Life is too short to spend time on people or things that aren’t meant for you.

6. Don’t talk about it, be about it.

7. Your kindness is a gift, but not everyone deserves your presence.

8. Remember, ‘No’ is a complete sentence.

9. Take care of yourself first—what’s in your cup is for you.

10. Love hard, no matter the risk. ❤️

This was me—September 4th, 2024. Cystic, hormonal acne. In pain. Insecure. Embarrassed to even do facials… Because how could I help others when I couldn’t even help my own skin?
What most people didn’t see was the stress I carried. Grieving my mom. Overgiving. Pushing through esthetician school, working full time as a school social worker, while trying to hold it all together. I’ve always been a people pleaser. My skin was just the mirror.
Now? My skin glows—but not because it’s perfect. It glows because I’ve learned to care for myself, inside and out. That’s what I want for you too.
