Muneerah’s maternity session. 🤍

I genuinely love photographing my friends, especially during special seasons of their lives. There’s something deeply personal about being trusted to document moments like this. From making sure she sat down every 30 minutes to the subtle banter between her and Sadiq, to guiding them through different poses, the entire experience felt soft, intentional, and full of love.

Maternity sessions always hit differently for me. Through a woman, another human is brought into this world, and I don’t think that should ever be approached casually. It deserves care, patience, tenderness, and intentionality. Beyond creating beautiful images, it’s about creating an environment where the mother feels safe, seen, celebrated, and at ease.

The studio that day was filled with warmth, laughter, calmness, and love. Nothing felt forced. Everything flowed naturally, and I think that’s what makes sessions like this truly special.

It’s always easier creating when people genuinely connect with your art, trust your process, and value what you do. That trust allows you to create from a deeper place, and you can feel it in every frame.

This was more than a shoot for me. It was an experience, a memory, and a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do.

Marybeth flew in from Atlanta for this session, and moments like this always mean something deeper to us.

There’s a certain feeling people carry when they know they’re in the right hands. No pressure, no awkwardness, no trying too hard, just an experience thoughtfully put together from start to finish.

We pay attention to the little things people often forget; how you’re welcomed, how comfortable you feel, how effortlessly everything flows, and most importantly, leaving with images that feel exactly like you imagined ,if not better.

Aunt Tosin walked into the studio with a kind of joy you could feel before she even said a word. Not loud, not forced… just pure, peaceful happiness. The kind that settles into a space and changes everything.

Before the camera even came out, she began to worship.

Softly at first… then fully. No rush, no pressure, just her and God in that moment. And somehow, the entire session shifted. It wasn’t just about taking pictures anymore, it became something deeper… something meaningful. Every frame carried a calm, a grace, a presence you can’t manufacture.

We simply let it flow.
