We live in a time marked by polarization, uncertainty, acceleration, and increasing social isolation. People are often expected to appear strong, productive, and certain, while many experience anxiety, insecurity, and difficulty maintaining meaningful connections. In this context, care is usually understood as something directed toward others. Unfolding asks an additional question: How can we care for others if we struggle to acknowledge what is happening within ourselves? The performance approaches care as a practice of recognition.
